Players in, players out; but still the same old struggles for Celtic who dropped 9 points behind Rangers. Dundee United’s win over Hibs puts them back into 3rd ahead of the Hibees while Hearts recent revival puts them within 7 points of the much coveted European spot. It’s a mixed bag for the new bosses as Jimmy gets off to worst possible start with 3-0 home defeat to Craig Brown’s Motherwell but get some pride back with advancement in the Scottish after win against Falkirk while Brown and co crashed out to Inverness. Falkirk’s point at Celtic park take them a point closer to Killie at the bottom of the table while three successive league defeats put them back in 11th place only three points ahead of Eddie May’s men. 

Despite lower league football struggling to get past the forces of nature thus far in 2010 we will have the return of our SFL round-up, including Queen of the South and Alloa recruiting strikers, John McCormack going to court, and the goalkeeper from the worst club in Scotland who conceded 5 at the weekend claiming: “my talent deserves to be in the SPL”.

There was a brief Punt of the Week hiatus last week, but Fowler will once again attempt to part you from your hard-earned with some choice odds from this weeks matches in Scotland.

We will preview all of the coming SPL action including Hearts’ trip to Ibrox and a tricky match against former Rangers man Derek McInnes’ St Johnstone side for Celtic. Where are they Now? and Injury-time news-in-brief also make an appearance.
